Let’s talk about why we don’t talk about this “issue” and also why age is such a heavy subject  especially when our measure of success doesn’t align with our set age expectation standards phew that’s alot of words right there
but to put a few words in,

1. age isn’t a measure of wisdom but it can be of experiences that mature people to a place where they are wiser {not a guarantee}

2. Age should never be the reason as to why we feel obligated to be what we’re not or be the reason we stop living our purpose or having a clear vision of who we want to be or where exactly we want to be at.

3. Give yourself grace, we all have issues {clearly} and it takes courage to recognise it and to find solution(s) to it.

4. Never allow anyone except God to measure you on a scale especially when you know you’re giving your very core to what you’re giving.

5. Age doesn’t assume maturity that to mean that in a place where two sober minds can make a decision love can happen on that same breath please do not give space for children to be used in the name of love because age does matter when it comes to protecting EVERYONE around us from the root, to the seed to the plant to the fruit

conclusion:
This as an open forum, your voice has always and will forever matter so be the one who waters and not one who destroys.

(side note: I realised that most of my audience, audience sounds distant let’s use friends on here don’t understand Swahili so I tried my best to make that English come through in the one featured below. Before you read this please take time to hear “my issue” then come back here for you to better understand why this had to be “aired out”.)

  1. So true! Maturity comes with experiences and not age but often we tend to associate it the other way around right! Then we lose sleep being sad about growing older, and with every birthday the happiness diminishes as the number increases..
