Beauty and No Beasts

It’s always been my goal to be known for my mind, spirit and soul over my body.

Don’t get me wrong I love beauty, love to look good even without putting extra work in but it’s the power of wisdom that really gets me in awe, the kind of faith in God that moves me and impacts every part of my life.

So maybe that’s why I get a little crushed inside even when I shouldn’t when people overlook a wisdom piece to applaud a ‘beauty/sexy’ piece.

It’s easy to sweep anyone off their feet or onto depending on your perspective when you fall in love with their inner being even as you consider them attractive. Beauty is too relative; I find flawed people beautiful because I can’t go back to looking at myself the same way; I get to kick some fears and perceptions right after because they’re that breathtaking.

They drown demons by just being wise and knowledgeable.

I hope my circle of influence is impacted the most by my growing mind than they are by my features or the shifting forms of my features because that’s what I’m here for.
